  • I was disappointed in John McCain's acceptance speech. There was a time when I had tremendous respect for him. That respect began to wane as he moved closer to Bush/Cheney to secure the nomination. Now it seems he is more consumed with winning the election than doing the right thing.

  • Don't forget - McCain is part of the senate that "can't get things done!" And he was part of it while his party had control of both houses of congress, the white house, and the court system.

  • You need to take a look at Palin's record if you believe that she does not have lobby ties. As a mayor, she hired lobbies to find federal funds for her city. In doing so, the lobbys brought back tens of millions of dollars and she still left the city in debt.

  • This has become so emotionally charged that I don't think there is a rational way out. The fact remains that this is not democrat vs republican. We are talking about the lives of a 17 year old girl and her 18 year old partner and their unborn baby.
